Overview

Sound Meter ("the App") is developed by PabloSoft. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Advertising Data

The App uses CAS.AI (CleverAdsSolutions) for ad mediation, which may work with multiple advertising networks. These services may collect:

• Advertising identifier (GAID/IDFA)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• General location data (country/region level, derived from IP address)
• App usage data related to ad interactions

Microphone Data

The App uses your device's microphone to measure ambient sound levels. All audio processing is performed entirely on your device in real time. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is only accessed while the Sound Meter screen is active and you have granted permission. You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings.

Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to improve the App. These services collect:

• Anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, features used)
• Crash reports and performance data
• Device information (model, OS version)
• App version information

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional "Remove Ads" purchase processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled by the respective platform's billing system.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with:

• Advertising partners — through CAS.AI mediation, for the purpose of serving relevant ads
• Analytics providers — Firebase (Google) for app improvement and crash reporting

If you purchase "Remove Ads", advertising data collection ceases as no ads are served.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Firebase's default retention policies (typically 14 months). Advertising data is managed by the respective ad networks according to their own policies. You can reset your advertising identifier at any time through your device settings.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the data collected about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Withdraw consent for data processing

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

On first launch, the App presents a consent dialog (powered by CAS.AI's Consent Flow) that complies with GDPR and other applicable regulations. You can manage your ad preferences at any time through your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
